Mini project: Cotton bud bridges

Students are given some cotton buds and tape to build a bridge with at least 1 span.

Singapore Structures: Resorts World Sentosa

Some of the structures that I find interesting at the newly-opened Resorts World Sentosa.

The shade that looks like leaves or petals of a flower.

The supporting colums that resembles a flower stalk that branches out.

The national icon of Singapore, the Merlion, is clearly visible from the Resorts World.

D&T Pupils' seminar 2010

This year, the D&T pupils' seminar held annually at Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) featured a Professional Designer from a company called The Asylum. Below are some pictures taken during the seminar.

Singapore Design Festival 2009: Design 2050

Showcasing some of the exhibits found at the Singapore Design Festival. The theme for this year's design festival is Design 2050: Possibilities for tomorrow. The Festival is held all over Singapore from the 20th till 30th Nov 2009.
