Singapore Structures: Resorts World Sentosa

Some of the structures that I find interesting at the newly-opened Resorts World Sentosa.

The shade that looks like leaves or petals of a flower.

The supporting colums that resembles a flower stalk that branches out.

The national icon of Singapore, the Merlion, is clearly visible from the Resorts World.

More information on the Resorts World Sentosa can be found at: http://www.rwsentosa.com/

D&T Pupils' seminar 2010

This year, the D&T pupils' seminar held annually at Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) featured a Professional Designer from a company called The Asylum. Below are some pictures taken during the seminar.

Lecturer from NYP enticing students to consider taking their digital media/design course.

Lecturer ends his talk by showing students that designers rock! A loud applause followed.

Chris from The Asylum was up next explaining about his design philosophy.

One of the products designed by the The Asylum was the Chocolate Research Facility. The chocolate shop can be found on the second floor of Wheelock Place.

One of the many designs that were showcased in the School of Design at NYP. This space-saving chair can be sit by one or two persons.

Students that went for the seminar and tour of the school.
