IKEA recalls children's swing worldwide due to risk of serious injury.

SINGAPORE: Swedish furniture retailer IKEA on Tuesday (Sep 16) issued a global recall of its Gunggung children's swing, saying it poses a risk of serious injury.
IKEA said it is recalling the product worldwide because the suspension fittings on it "do not live up to IKEA quality requirements".
The company told Channel NewsAsia that 87 sets have been sold in Singapore since it went on sale on Apr 1 this year. Sales were stopped in Singapore on Aug 14 after the company received four reports worldwide of the suspension fittings breaking; one incident involved an eight-year-old boy in Austria who fell, fracturing his leg in the process.
